Edison Township Public Schools has been selected through a competitive national application process to join the Digital Promise League of Innovative Schools, a national network connecting forward-thinking school districts committed to advancing innovation and excellence in education.
As a League member, Edison will have opportunities to collaborate with education leaders across the country, explore innovative practices, and contribute to research-backed approaches that support student success.

Thank you to the Edison Fire Department for coming to FDR to teach our preschoolers about fire safety. We had so much fun looking at the fire truck and getting to up inside!

Busing information for the 2026-2027 school year will be available in the Genesis Parent Portal beginning Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The Genesis Parent Portal will open tomorrow, Monday, August 24, at 12:00 p.m.
Please note that once the portal opens, families will need to complete all required forms before they can view their child’s schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.

Dr. Toohey was recognized for his innovative, student-centered leadership and commitment to expanding opportunities for every learner. His work includes the development of Edison Success Academy, a forward-thinking program providing personalized pathways, comprehensive supports, and meaningful opportunities for students to succeed.
This national recognition follows Dr. Toohey being named the 2026 New Jersey Special Education Administrator of the Year and reflects his continued commitment to advocacy, innovation, and student success.

The Subscription Busing Application for the 2026-2027 school year will open on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and close on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Applications can be accessed through the Genesis Parent Portal under Forms.

The FDR preschoolers proudly raised $421 through our Have a Heart Fundraiser! The proceeds will benefit Buddy Ball, the ETEA Scholarship Fund, and Kiddie Keep Well.
We are so proud of our little learners for embracing the importance of giving back to their community at such a young age. Their generosity and enthusiasm truly made this fundraiser a success!
